The Last Element of "Cor Liberum" is Now On-site

IMG_0150.jpg

I am really closing in on the completion of "Cor Liberum", my Norton Hospital commission. Today, I went to pick up the history pillars from the monument company. They really look good. I decided to add the black litho to the lettering as I was concerned that they would not really stand out and people would pass them by.

The current plan is to start install tomorrow, weather permitting. I am planning on doing this by myself as they are less than 1000 pounds a piece. The only tricky part is that they are beveled. This may provide a bit of a challenge getting the strap to hold with out slipping. Only time will tell!

Stay tuned for further images as this really cool project comes to an end!
